Mori skull necklace is a reminder to live every day as if it's your last. Centuries ago beautiful jewelry was created to remind people of their own mortality. This jewelry served as a warning to prepare ourselves for whatever other realm awaits us. Memento Mori were often decorated with skeletons in coffins mounted on rings, and engraved with phrases such as "life is fleeting." Only jewelry can convey a harsh reality in such elegant form.

Comes on a simple sterling silver 18" cable chain with a spring ring clasp, adjustable to 16". The charm measures 18x18mm, excluding jumprings.
